How Work-in-Progress Tracking Works
Each product, tray, or bin is equipped with a small wireless tag. These tags communicate with anchors mounted on the walls and the system calculates the exact position of each tag in real time with up to 30 cm accuracy, so you can track every box with material.
Your production process is mapped into virtual zones (for example: cutting, welding, assembling) using geofencing on the digital layout of your factory.
As products move through the process, the system tracks when each item enters or leaves a zone, how long it stays, where it moves next, and whether it moves unexpectedly.
You can see all this data live on a digital map and graphs. And the data is fed directly into your MES and ERP platforms for automatic updates.
