Sewio and Mist Systems (a Juniper Networks company) have partnered to provide Sewio’s ultra-wideband (UWB) technology as a part of Mist solution to boost the efficiency and maximize the safety of Mist’s customers in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), healthcare, enterprise, logistics and retail environments.
Using Sewio’s UWB technology with sub one foot (30 cm) accuracy empowers Mist to address new use cases in employee safety, operational efficiency and material flow tracking. Sewio has become the UWB RTLS of choice for Mist because of its unrivaled scalability to deliver industry-proven indoor tracking projects of any size and their fully industry-certified solution, guaranteeing reliable performance in even the harshest environments.
Newly, Sewio UWB anchors can be easily added to the existing network of Juniper’s access points using the current cabling, significantly minimizing the costs to enable precise indoor tracking. Sewio anchors doesn’t need to follow the grid of Juniper access points, therefore the UWB anchors can use the same network cabling while being placed in different locations than the AP’s to create the best possible indoor tracking area coverage.
Working with Mist (Juniper), Sewio extends its UWB technology across the many verticals that Juniper serves to boost their efficiencies and streamline their business flows. Sewio RTLS technology is now available through a technology partner that has been named a Visionary in the new Gartner Magic Quadrant for Indoor Location Services with top placement for “Completeness of Vision”, relative to other vendors.
The Mist (Juniper) solution provides a single framework that integrates multiple technologies, including Sewio’s UWB RTLS, to solve multiple location-based use cases, while providing highly positive ROI and a short payback period.
The Mist (Juniper) solution is continuing to gain traction among top companies worldwide, with over 300% year-over-year growth and three of the Fortune 10 as customers. Additionally, over 25% of Juniper (Mist) customers are deploying location-based services along with AI-driven wired and wireless access solutions.
