Fabo is a global leader in the self-adhesive tapes, with an annual tapes production of 300 millions of square meters.  The tapes are stored and moved across the Larciano’s plant that has an area of 18,000 square meters (15.000 production facility, 3.000 logistics center). The high number of assets together with quick warehouse turnover makes the logistics processes quite demanding and complex. Ubiquicom has implemented forklift tracking using Sewio real-time location system and an indirect asset tracking to optimize both, the process efficiency and the layout itself.
