IIoT Consultant with Polish
Who are we?
We’re a growing technology scaleup with a startup spirit. We develop and manufacture an extremely accurate system for real-time indoor tracking and localization of almost anything in production halls, warehouses, and distribution centers.
With our technology, by 2028, we plan to make more than 10,000,000 m² of production and warehouse spaces safer and more efficient. Right now, we have 37 people working hard in four countries to make this happen. These countries are Czechia, USA, Germany, and Slovenia.
We serve customers in 45 countries. Some are well-known companies like Volkswagen, Continental, Velux, Budweiser Budvar, and Toyota. But we also work with many other, lesser-known but very important manufacturing companies.
Who are we looking for and what will you do?
We’re looking for a tech enthusiast who has a genuine interest in automation, digitalization and is keen to learn about new trends in the areas of Industrial Internet of Things and Smart Factory Technologies. Above all, the right candidate will possess a key culture fit, a set of highly desired qualities (empathy, problem-solving, systematic thinking, integrity, reliability), and a growth mindset. We believe the rest can be provided by elaborated onboarding training, plus ongoing mentoring and knowledge sharing put in place.
As a Consultant at Sewio, you will maintain full ownership of customer and partner relationships, from prospecting to solution development, delivery, and customer satisfaction as well as incremental upsells in the future. You will have the autonomy to apply your bestselling consultancy approach and thus bring the best salesperson in you to the light.
This role will be ideal for somebody who loves to travel to build and maintain symbiotic relationships with their clients. You will have a chance to work with some of the most innovation-focused manufacturers in the world and help solve their challenging efficiency and safety issues with our cutting-edge RTLS technologies.
An essential fact for most salespeople, in this position you will be eligible to make motivational commissions based on your sales performance (besides your regular base pay).
To thrive in this role, it would be beneficial if you have:
Must have
- Technical background – 2-5 years of experience working in or supporting manufacturing processes, understanding of manufacturing shopfloor
- Good language skills – native Polish and very good English (C1) are a must
- Suitable location within Poland or Czechia (we expect you to visit the Brno headquarters regularly)
Nice to have
- University degree – Technical or Industrial engineering (nice-to-have)
- Previous experience in the sales role (nice-to-have)
- Ability to travel extensively (min. 50% travel, up to 75% when/if needed occasionally), mostly within Europe
Who will you meet at Sewio?
- The Sales Consultant will become part of the team led by Viren Mathuria. He is our CSO based in Houston, TX, and has excellent insight into Industry 4.0 and SmartFactory.
- Your leader will be Simon Chudoba – A senior consultant with extensive experience in RTLS and IOT. Simon is based in Brno and you will cooperate with him very closely on a daily basis.
- You will also cooperate with Lubomir Mraz, a leading expert in wireless technologies in Europe and one of our founders.
What is our recruitment process like?
- First of all, we will invite you to Hireflix – a video interview platform, where we will ask you a few basic questions to get to know you better and decide whether we should meet or not. It will take you no more than 15 minutes.
- We will then invite you to an online meeting with Jiri (CHRO), Viren (CSO), and Simon (Senior Consultant). Part of this interview will be a short sales pitch. This interview will last no longer than 60 minutes.
- Then you will meet Lubo or Milan – our founders.
- The last meeting has only one topic – to talk about our and your expectations and about the specific parameters of the job offer. The aim is to clarify everything perfectly.
- Then you will receive the job offer.
