Junior Sales Consultant GER

Who are we?

We’re a growing technology scaleup with a startup spirit. We develop and manufacture an extremely accurate system for real-time indoor tracking and localization of almost anything in production halls, warehouses, and distribution centers.

With our technology, by 2028, we plan to make more than 10,000,000 m² of production and warehouse spaces safer and more efficient. Right now, we have 37 people working hard in four countries to make this happen. These countries are Czechia, USA, Germany, and Slovenia.

We serve customers in 45 countries. Some are well-known companies like Volkswagen, Continental, Velux, Budweiser Budvar, and Toyota. But we also work with many other, lesser-known but very important manufacturing companies.

Whom are we looking for and what will you do?

We’re looking for a tech enthusiast who has a genuine interest in automation, digitalization and is keen to learn about new trends in the areas of Industrial Internet of Things and Smart Factory Technologies. Above all, the right candidate will possess key culture fit, a set of highly desired qualities (empathy, problem-solving, systematic thinking, integrity, reliability), and a growth mindset. We believe the rest can be provided by elaborated onboarding training, plus ongoing mentoring and knowledge sharing put in place.

As Sales Consultant at Sewio, you will maintain full ownership of customer and partner relationships, from prospecting to solution development, delivery, and customer satisfaction, and incremental upsells in the future. You will have the autonomy to apply your bestselling consultancy approach and thus bring the best salesperson in you to light.

This role will be ideal for somebody who loves to travel to build and maintain symbiotic relationships with their clients. You will have a chance to work with some of the most innovation-focused manufacturers in the world and help solve their challenging efficiency and safety issues with our cutting-edge RTLS technologies.

An essential fact for most salespeople, in this position you will be eligible to make motivational commissions based on your sales performance (besides your regular base pay).

To thrive in this role, it would be beneficial if you have: 

  • Technical background – 2-5 years of experience working in or supporting manufacturing processes, understanding of manufacturing shop floor
  • University degree – Technical or Industrial engineering (nice-to-have)
  • Previous experience in a sales role (nice-to-have)
  • Good language skills – native/fluent in German, fluent in English, and knowledge of some other world language is an advantage
  • Location in Germany
  • Ability to travel extensively (min. 50% travel, up to 75% when/if needed occasionally)

The Sales Consultant will become part of the team led by Viren Mathuria. He is a co-founder of Sewio LLC (Houston, TX) and has excellent insight into Industry 4.0 and SmartFactory. Not only that, but he is also a true tech enthusiast and after talking to him about his work, you will not hesitate a second that Sewio’s RTLS is THE product you want to be offering to your clients.

You will also cooperate with Lubomir Mraz, a leading expert in wireless technologies in Europe and one of our founders. Last but not least, you will have (not only) technical consultations with Jakub Duchon, who has led the implementation of our projects around the world.
