Claire Swedberg, the author of the article discusses the details of the contest, which was launched in early September as an effort to spark enthusiasm and creativity around UWB technology use for indoor location tracking. Three winners, chosen by Sewio, received a Digital Hero Enablement Kit and thus, a hands-on experience of Sewio’s RTLS.

Each participant was asked to answer two questions regarding their potential use case for the technology. Instead of the expected 87 responses, Sewio received a whopping number of 327 entries. The proposals from contestants varied and included e.g., tracking of pets, forklifts, or elevators.

The winners were announced at the end of October and Sewio’s Enablement Kits are now on their way to two companies in the US and one in Portugal.
